Let’s clear some things up.
-
Spring Cocktail! It’s a notch above business casual. Preference towards floor length dresses for women. Ties and formal shoes for men. Given the relaxed vibe and that most guests are coming from out of town, we don't have expectations of full formal suit.
-
The ceremony will be outdoors under a shaded grove. The reception will be indoors in a climate-controlled pavilion with access to an outdoor lawn.
-
April in Austin is the best weather we have all year! The bluebonnets are out in full force and the temperatures are mild. Average high of 75, low of 65. Low chances of precipitation and gentle 7mph breezes.
-
Ample parking is available next to the private entrance for guests who drive. Uber is also a convenient option.
-
No, but we'll share photos on this website and email those unable to attend.
-
Yes! The ceremony will be on grass but there is no elevation change from the ceremony to the reception. There is a ramp and approximately 2 flights of stairs totaling about 8 steps total to get access to the water to feed the turtles.
-
We are still finalizing the menu, but the wedding will be hosted at a BBQ restaurant so adjust expectations accordingly!
-
Let us know in the RSVP about any dietary restrictions. We will be hosting our wedding at a BBQ restaurant so we hope you dig in to some delicious Texan food.
-
To keep things simple, we will be serving free margaritas on the rocks. We adore the margaritas here and are sure you will too!
-
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we want to ensure cellphones don't enter our wedding photos. You will have a quick chance to snap a photo of us, but we will direct you when to take out the cellphones and when to put them away. Afterwards, take as many photos as you like!
-
Just contact us! Except for wedding day, please have all questions answered before then. But we will make this as seamless for everyone so all questions are answered before asking!
